Executing Your Hourly Financial Plan

I’m on a winter hike today, overlooking Castle Peak in the White Clouds and the frozen Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth Mountains. I want to talk to you about the last step in the EVOKE process—executing your plan and putting things in place. Watch the video here.
How Hourly Financial Planning Clients Can Execute Their Plans
So first, on the execution side, things are a little different with Matterhorn Financial Planning. I never take control of your assets or make trades or handle your money. I’ll help you understand what you need to do to get that done. I can give you written instructions, I can screen share with you and help you make trades, and I can help facilitate the process however much is helpful for you.
You can take over however much you prefer to, and we work on getting the things in place that we talked about.
Monitoring and Revisiting Your Financial Goals
Then after that, as we monitor things in the future, hopefully over the next year to year and a half we start to reach some of these goals that you’ve been looking for. We want to go back and touch base with your vision again and see—now—what’s coming up for you, what feels most important.
You’re going to start to change things and accomplish things, and life always changes. So we want to continually circle back and go through the process again, making sure we keep a vision in front of us of what’s going to be most important to you in your life.
A Partnership Approach to Execution
This is how we execute: I assist on the side, you take control, and we move forward. Then we circle back to make sure we continually do the things that are most important to you.
